Had to replace the drivers seat frame twice (I am big, but this is the only that I have every had do this)

Later,

So did Nissan replace all 8 winodow motors under warranty?

That is ridiculous.

I have a list of things about the Z that seem to be fairly common problems and like dayam it's getting long.

Hey does anyone know where i can get a passenger side window motor at a great price. I feel so ghetto driving around and not being able to lower the window.

Thanks
I'm out of warranty (40k miles) and went to my local Nissan about the window. The service rep was able to get it replaced for free as a "goodwill" gesture from Nissan. You should ask - can't hurt.

Hey,

So a couple of answers:

Big = 5'8" 350 lbs.

Daily drive is about 150 miles total (65 miles to work and other runinng around)

Most of the driving is open freeway stuff 80-90 mph.

Nissan has replaced all the window motors at no cost, I did get the 100K warranty extension.

I do alot of canyon runs and drive the car pretty hard. My house is at the base of highway 74 in California. One of the best canyon roads (about 20 miles of twisty roads). I go to the track 3-4 times a year, and do AutoX at Qualcomm Stadium 3-4 times a year.

I think they are potential low 13 second cars driven by light weight asian with kung fu pedal and shifting reflexes.

The shift **** isn't made for big fat European sausage fingers. Only chopstick holding hands.

I used to freak out about the mileage, I have an 05, ordered it Dec 15th 2004 and it came with 11 miles on it a week later. Right now I have 16,6xx, I was thinking I am driving it too much, but really industry averages are about 15K a year, and since my 275/30's are smaller in diameter then the stock rims, I am getting extra miles little by little....can someone do the match for me? For every 5 thousand miles, how much miles are added onto the car that shouldn't have been??

Either way, I have stopped caring, I love driving the car, and I knew it was solid, now I see you have 100K miles, and 65K boosted miles, I know my car is going to last!!! LOL

When you were at 40K miles, did it feel like it was losing power in stock form??

LMFAO!!!!!!!!!
Same thing happened to me one day when it got really cold here and i guess that made my tire pressure drop because after a couple minutes of driving the alarm chime starts going off and HOLY **** that's noticeable!!!!! There's no way that you wouldn't be able to hear that thing. And it did it to me about 3 other times that day since i didn't fill up the tires with air.
