Default Some 06's get NISMO Rear Shocks?

So you all know we are a dealer rite...

Well, every now and then we NISMO Up some Z's...

We were doing an 06 fresh off the truck with NISMO Exhaust, NISMO Wheels, NISMO Suspension...

to our suprize... the REAR SHOCKS were NISMO Shocks! They were silver...

The rest of the springs and shocks were black...

It was raining today and I didnt feel like looking at the rears of all the 06's we have on the lot, but ill check monday...

I think alot of 06 Z's are shipping with rear NISMO Shocks...

The dealer is installing my nismo stuff on my 06 as we speak. Now, even if I do already have nismo shocks on my rears, don't I still have to buy the entire nismo spring and shock kit to finish the nismo components....especially for the fronts?

ThankZ 4 the info,

-LamaZ

Its only the NISMO Shocks on the rear... Same part number stampped on it then the one that is in the NISMO Shock and spring kit.

All the NISMO Shocks are available seperately for the 350z. But the Springs are not available seperately...

Each NISMO Shock is $177 on the rear...

my 06 track sure didnt have the nismo's

even if they did, the dealer probably would have taken them off and try to sell them seperate for more, or charge more for the car

I wonder if its a supply shortage issue. Both the stock shocks and the Nismo's are made by Tokico, correct? Maybe they ran out of the black casings and had to pull from the silver inventory to keep up with demand.

Is the nismo suspension system that much of an improvement? Price doesn't seem to bad.
