Just wanted to note:

We do not put "add-ons" on our cars. Same goes for aftermarket stuff. We sell our cars, just like they come from the factory.

We contract out, at the customers request, for paint sealant, and undercoating services.

I personally prefer not to sell aftermarket stuff, accessories or other parts.

I do see other dealers adding this stuff.
The doc fees, and " dealer prep" are pet peeves of mine as well.

You guys are right....when I was shopping around for the Z, there would be dealers marking up thier cars up to, like 7,000 more than sticker. All they added was the Lojack, scotchguard, paint protectant, and other stupid stuff. That pretty much turned me away from the car. I think that the dealers should start realizing that they should cut that crap out if they want to make more deals.
