2005 vs 2006
Does anyone notice a difference in terms of steering?
I had a 2005 base and just picked up a 2006 track last week. The car is still being broken in, but so far I really don't notice much of a difference in terms of steering.
Just to note, I am about 4 months removed from my last Z.

A few other things.
The interior upgrades don't really impress. I would be just as fine with the 2005 interior. One thing I do notice is that I much prefer the 2005 kneepads as they felt more substantial than the 2006 version. Also, not sure if it's just my car, but the center console, where my elbow rests, creaks like crazy. Definitely have to get that checked out.
A few things I do enjoy are the bi-xenons and the led tails. Coming from the halogens in the base, this is a great improvement. I haven't had the chance to drive the car that hard thus far, but the cockpit seems a little more quiet to me with less engine drone. I may be wrong, but I believe that there could be more soundproofing in this car versus the base I had previously. If this is true, it could account for some of the increase in weight over previous years.

After reading a few posts about the 2006s, I was really hoping for some michelin pilot sports. Alas the car came with bridgestone RE050As, but seem decent so far. Definately a step up from the RE040s.
From looking as pics, I was never a fan of 35 anniversary or 2006 wheels. After seeing them in person however, I am quite pleased. They definately go well with the silver alloy. I had a redline previously, and still think it's the more exciting color, but silver alloy and the rays definatley go well together.
