Stiff? Hmm..... My '05's clutch feels lose like a ho as well as my friend's 04. Or maybe it's because I was too used to my old car's aftermarket clutch.

The 06 may lose to 60 from a dig by a tenth of a second or two but yours will feel like it hit a brick wall with anything higher than that.

I'd rather have a car thats more fun to drive in the end...

On the 06... Are you saying it has variable power assist adjusted by how fast the car is going? Or did they do more and actualy make it where the car will change the number of rotations it takes when moving at 60 mph as compared with very small rotation at 5 mph to get the same wheel angle? I hope its only the 1st and not the 2nd scenerio b/c #2 on a sports car sounds very silly. Not sure bout my feelings if its just #1 either. Would have to drive it to say.

When I bought my 06 GT they didn't have one so they let me have a 35th anniv. off the lot for two weeks. I didn't see any difference in clutch feel between the two. Maybe because they both have the rev-up engiens in them?

My 05 clutch is fairly light, they changed some things beginning in 05, so i think the 06 is the same assembly. The lightness doesnt bother me, but i hate the very high engagement point. And yes ive tried to adjust it but it cant be done well without certain drawbacks.

Sounds like we both have what we want on this deal. You have a car that is more fun to drive for you and I have one that fits my needs. I was thinking about trading up to an 06 but I am thinking its not worth it. I might go test drive one just to see if mine really feels like it hits a brick wall up top.

I had a late '05 and now have an 06. The 06 may be tad bit lighter and overall easier to drive, but I never thought of the '05 as having a heavy clutch.

Man, I hope they did'nt screw up the clutch on the 06. My 03 feels great. If I ever had to replace this car with an 06 it would be the Nismo version most likely.
