I'm 26 too, and by buying my Z I restricted myself from a bunch of other activities. ( like blowing $200 drinking on the weekends)

Z's are already common as hell around here.....

Fug it, bring the ricers. At least it'll be more entertaining than looking at a bunch of Stock Z's all day long.

I just recently got a 35th Silverstone, primarly because I only see like one maybe two a day. Plus, a big boost in power over my Miata that I traded in helped as well . I personally think the ricers with a civic with a fart box and cone filter makes it faster than any car on the road. I know I can beat them in a race, but on a track. Street racing is just...stupid.

yup, a teenager can buy a used 95 civic, which was in the first movie for under 4000 easy, these kids wont be buying a used Z anytime soon.

what i really hope that doesn't come out of all this exposure is haters. the last thing i want happen to my Z is someone keying and vandalizing her... if that's the case, there will be a lot of stabsies made by me.

I cant wait!!! I almost secretly kinda like reading through those threads where they like to say how young they are and that they have a Z and where can I get the best body kit...etc etc.

you find me a cheap twin turbo supra, even tho they are 10 years old, most of them still go for well over the price of the 350's. but anywho, you guys have got to stop hatin on the younger kids (like me, since im only 19) who want a 350z. Im 19 as I said, and want a nice car. I sure as hell worked hard enough for it considering Im living on my own and can still afford 2 year financing. But anyways back to my main point. Not everyone wants to have a huge spoiler and neons dragging on the floor. I just want a nice clean daytona blue with 20'' rims and I'll be happy. And if you say i shouldnt get a fast car, my first car when I was 16 was a TT 300zx ^_^

Worrying about the whole stigma with the ricer crowd is warrantied I think, but age shouldn't be an issue.

I'm on a number of various car forums and on each you'll find 16 year olds with M3s, various BMWs, even Porsches. It's all relative really.

What you should expect when F&F3 hits the movies:

1. There will be hardly any changes to new and used sales of Z's.
2. You will most likely get an increase in amount of street racers pestering you.
3. You might see a tricked out Z for drifiting events.
4. You will be considered a F&F guy, because you drive a Z. Eventhough you owned the Z before the movie came out, your still grouped as a F&F guy.
5. You will have an increase of cops pestering you, becaues they will think a left and right hand turn is considered drifting.
6. If your Asian and driving a Z, your still considered a target for the police.
7. Expect your insurance rate to go up, because the movie came out. The insurance company needs more money for the lamest reasons.
8. Expect a radio controlled Z car to go on sale under the F&F name.
9. A stock twin-turbo supra with 100k miles will still cost you 25k+.
10. A used Z with XX,XXX miles will still cost around 25k+.

If Vin Diesel drove the Z in F&F3, then I you will see a shift in demand for the Z and a stronger presence in drifiting. Of course, not happening. Therefore the items listed above applies.
