hopefully you're deductible isn't too high? i know my normal deductible is 500 for collision or whatever is 500, but for non-collision related things (act of god, vandalism, etc.) its only $50. I still need to get the paint fixed on my rear quarter where I was egged on halloween.

 

I would get the car fixed, trade it in on a new Z, and then show them what a favor they have done for me!!!!

If I ever get my car vandalized I really wish I could see the guy in action - I will make him my moving boxing bag and my thai kicks and a few elbows will teach him a lesson. Then both my car and his body will be damaged. And i bet you i will get my car fixed sooner then his miserable body will recover!

Yeah people suck, obviously it's a hate crime. they are pissed that you have a nice looking car and they don't. You just can't have anything nice these days without someone hatin on you for it. Sorry to hear of the damage. Check with your insurance company cause most of them cover it comprehensively. My insurance (state Farm) covers vandalism and I pay nothing.

 

It's not a hate crime (unless you are saying it's people "hating"), it's just petty vandalism. People with no respect. You just have to let the insurance claim get it, and put it behind you.
