Has anyone had any experience with the shift linkage for the 6 sp.? How short are the throws, how does it feel?

Just found this site a few days ago, and I haven't slept since. I was lucky enough to be the final preorder available in my area. All my local dealerships had alotted quotas, and I got the last one in May! These forums and pictures are like my first Playboy to me! I just finished that incredible "A day with" thread...
If I was there I think I would have had sex with the tailpipe of the local 350!
