Wow !!! I might just do that this summer. I have done soft field, dirt, pavement but want to learn the floats this summer and skis next winter maybe. We'll talk more through PM's as the time nears.

Back to the topic .....

What you did is not cool. Purposely starting a flame war just for your personal entertainment is not right and f*cked up.

I have it from reliable sources that the 400z to be announces in the not too distant future will address this stick/auto issue for customers that are totally unable to make decisions by offering a 2 speed clutchless manual option. It is to have voice instructions. The OBDCM (on board drive command module) will direct the driver when to shift. To reduce driver stress and frustration, the driver does not have the responsibility of choosing shifting up or shifting down as the OBDCM makes this decision regardless of the direction the driver forces the shift lever- left, right, forward, backward.

On another front, there is significant research underway to determine if similar action should be taken to reduce to one the pedals on the floor with the OBDCM providing voice commands to the driver when to depress the single pedal. Naturally the OBDCM will determine if ABS or DBW is to be engaged.

This is not to be confused as leading edge technology from Nissan as BMW has been leading in SDE (Symplified Driving Experience) and will soon be adding these functions to their control **** on the center console.

You could have just as easily searched and found a ton of threads just like this one...no need to start a new one every week.

I would like to think that most people that come to this forum are here to get information, share their experiences or have a general sense of community when it comes to discussing the Z and it's related topics.

Some people have extreme opinions or some far fetched ideas which is fine as long as they don't attack each other. But, what you did was purposely set up a situation for that to occur.

You are like the little kid from grade school that throws the rock at the class bully then goes and hides behind the next person to see what happens.
