I wished they explained how you get the back of the ramp up to the same level as the front after you drive the car on it.

Based on the FAQ, there is a rotating bar that runs between the two rails with a "hump" in the middle. Once you drive your car onto the rails, you rotate the bar up so that you can get a jack under the hump. You jack the rear of the rails far enough to drop the legs and then lower the jack so the weight transfers to the legs.
