Today after I filled up my gas tank,I switched over the trip computer to see how cold it was outside.That's when I noticed
the DTE (distance till empty) read "350".I wonder if this was intentional when they determined the size of the gas tank or just
a coincidence.Just thought it was an interesting tidbit.

 

dte is very inaacurate. I had a dte of 46 when I had 4.5 gallons in the gas tank.

 

I know the DTE can vary but the 350 that was displayed was right
after I filled the gas tank completely and had not moved yet.

 

your DTE would depend on your gas mileage. you just happened to have the right number. I ussually have over 350miles till empty on a full tank. in the 360s typicly.
