Default Any musicians in the group?

Just wanted to know how many 'performers' were on board and if you can fit your instruments in your Z. One of the first things I did when I brought the Z home was to break out the Martin, (guitar) in its case, and see if it fit in the back. It was really close. There was a brief moment of anxiety. Not that it mattered much, ,(I'm not gettin' it, , she won't fit) but it's perfect. I have to raise the body of the guitar case up and stick the neck in first and then the butt end of the body squeezes in and it lays flat in the back. (behind the strut) No room for 'Lucy' to slide around. Like a glove. The golf bag instructions in the manual were sort of a laugh at first, but they turned out to be of some help. The little amp fits perfectly in the front of the strut as well. Now all I need is a groupie and I'm set. . . OK 'performing' may be a minor detail. .

I play bass and drums. No way I'd stuff any of that into my Z. I love it too much!

I have a Tama 9 piece with double bass and a bunch of zildjians. I shove the whole thing in my car. It's a tight fit.

I fit my Fender Tele with case, and a gretsch acoustic without the case in the back. The Tele case fit perfectly, but I had to work the acoustic under the strut bar.

Don`t know about the Z but I do recall I could just barely fit my Fender Jass bass in my 68 Firebird. Don`t play anymore..

It's easy to fit my trumpet, flugel, and trombone in the Z -- and still have my "groupie" (wife).

It's all about the breakdown. The more you break a set down, the smaller it gets. Believe me, it's possible to fit a whole drumset inside the bass drum, a duffle bag, and a cymbal bag. Of course, setting back up will take four times as long, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

We should start a Z band

I'm also a drummer, so I haven't even tried to fit them into the Z- besides, it's probably a little harder in the roadster! I still have my '99 Maxima for lugging the drums around...

I play upright bass and electric bass...

Ive taken my bass amp to a few gigs...

I put my 2 electric basses (fretted and frettless) across the back infront of the rear strut bar (behind the seats)...

Depending on the size of the gig... I have small Galien Kruger 12" combo amp I can put in the back... If its a bigger gig I put my SWR Super Redhead in the passenger seat... My front dash has a couple of gashes in it from it ...

no way I can get my upright bass in there... But I gotta get paid alot to bring that out...
