Exclamation Official 350Z/G35 Member Street Greeting!

Sticky this...
I propose 2 high beam headlamp flashes to be used as official greeting if the cars are traveling toward each other.
I propose 1 honk and a look of respect if the cars are tarveling together toward the same direction...

How about a honk to get the attention and a rev to pay respect? Sounds good to me!
And if the car is oncoming then yea, the headlight flash seems good enough with maybe a rev when you're right next ot each other. :]

It's not a good idea dood... that's why the mod responded like that. Think about it.. this board does not nearly even comprise of *all* the Z owners out there. On top of that, not everyone on this board will read this post, even if you sticky it. So the chances that you do one of your proposed greetings to a random Z owner on the road and he/she understanding what it means is minimal at best. Besides, we already have a universal greeting to fellow Z owners - a simple thumbs up and a smile!

The headlight flash has been done for a long time. Usually its all Z drivers. I drive a 300zx and I have gotten the flash from 240z thru the 300z.

That's funny. Seriously though, I think the best "signal" would be a friendly wave.

ummmm don't know if you guys know this but whenever someone flashes their high beams at me it normally means there's a cop somewhere down the same road he just came from and he's warning us.

I agree with the friendly wave approach. I'll do that from now on.
