oh, my bad I was not available along with the oh so many others to give constructive critism to a 16 yr old who wants a newer high powered car and point him in the right direction. I gave my input. Obviously, he needed to go to bed to rest up for a high school algebra test tomorrow (most likely debating the issue (crying to his parents) about what car he gets or he will runaway.

Yea I loved that thing, it was a Volvo s70 T5. Great 5 speeds of turbocharged fun... I miss that thing, we had some great times together The entire stereos setup I have on my Z right now, I ripped off the Volvo.

 

I was being scarstic to PCA350Z but I do like the volvo to. Its got a nice clean boxy lines and very comfortable to drive. Good times....

 

I wanted a 350z since the 8th grade too and that was over 15 years ago. I think z is too much for a new driver. I drove a 71 ford LTD and people called it 'The Love Boat'

I drove a 70 Grand Marque in High School and LOVED it! It was soooo long and big, we called it "The boat". I loved it so much that I would buy a 80's grandmarque in a second!

lol, me too, Actually I still dream about an M3, but right now my budget doesnt cut it, I had to go for the Z, which I wanted it too since I heard it was coming back on 03.

 

Why does a teenager has to buy a geo metro or civic as a first car. You buy what you can afford or whatever you can get for your first car. Not because some people couldnt afford to have a nicer first car, every one else should start with a POS car.

Don't be bitter just because you are older or married w/kids and you just got the chance to get a Z, not when you were a teenager.

I say to each their own, if the kid is 14 with a learner's permit and can afford a ferrari, go for it. I know I would've done it if I could, and I bet a million bucks any of you would've bought a Z if you could when you were 16.
