Ya unfortunately a clear bra still wouldn't have worked unless I did the entire hood. This rock chip is near the top of the hood.

Er, I think it was pretty obvious he was calling Nissan jackasses for making all their cars with cheap paint--which I agree having owned several Nissan cars all with that problem!

I disagree. from what I read he was being sarcastic about people blaming nissan for having cheap paint as a reason for rock chips occuring. this is also not the first time he has resorted to calling his fellow forums members names.

OK, I was not aware of any history this poster may have. I just assumed the best. To me it seemed like the criticism was aimed at Nissan but I'll let the poster speak for himself.

Having said that, Nissan paint does seem to chip particularly easy.
