Temperature Sensor Incorrect After Removing & Replacing Front Bumper

So I installed my new smoked side markers today and, to make it easy on myself, decided to remove the front bumper to do it instead of trying to work around the wiper reservoir on the passenger side. No problem; bumper came off quick, I slapped in the markers and put it all back on in a half an hour. But I noticed upon driving that the ambient air temp was kinda wacked. It's like 65 degrees here today and the thing is still reading the last temp I saw yesterday, which is 38. WTF? Don't think I did anything to the sensor when I took the bumper off (I believe it's in front of the radiator, correct?). Any ideas?
P.S. I know this is a minor issue, but if the thing reads 38 degrees forever it'll bug me like crazy.
