Assume you are looking at a Track Model 350Z, with all the factory options. How many times on the car, inside and out (anything visible without using tools) are the three square dots that sit inside the Z logo found. (Count each set of 3 as 1. Include 1 for each Z logo found on the car. Other things that come in sets of threes, such as the guages do not count.)

The rear strut bar has three (the Z logo, and one set on each side)

I guess I will give some hints:
12 are on Z logos. There are 2 Z logos that do not have them (and don't add into the total)
There are almost twice as many outside as inside.

The stick shift has only one of the dots on each side, so there are none there.

 

Don't forget the front side markers..... can't see them all that well but they are there....

Which 7 of the remaining 9 Z logos have them? After that, there are only three left, and they are all inside.

Well, I'm pretty sure it is the two Z side emblems (behind rear wheel) that do no have the three dots.

The steering wheel one does.
Two on floor mats and one on trunk mat, IF you bought them... so I say those shouldn't count.

That's 6 of the 9 you mention... where are the other 3???

 

Oh, and there are two sets of three dots above the radio preset buttons.. really six dots... but if the dots on the strut bar and kick plates count, so should those...

 

I think they do count, as the question specified all factory options...
