This has the harshest ride of any car that I have owned. They say the 03' is the harshest and that they pussified the following yrs. I don't know, I haven't driven the later years. I've thought of getting the Nismo suspension which is supposed to handle even better and be more comfortable(how is that?) but I don't think you can use the Nismo w/ VDC models. Anyone know for sure?

After Driving a slammed sedan on 35 series tires, the Z feels like a caddy to me.

The 04.5 and beyond got a stiffer rear springs or what was called the "euro spec" suspension. The change was intended to stop the porpoising.

There have been several posts on the quality of the ride having to do with OE wheels and tires VS aftermarket wheels and low profile tires. Consensus was the OE wheels and tires are pretty bouncy, but give you a smoother less jarring ride. The aftermarket wheel and low profile tire has more jarring ride, but stickier in the corners. Also there have been posts on the the wheel size 17, 81 VS 19 and 20 and the general consensus is the the larger wheels are a little slower and a little harsher.
