Maybe the best compliment I've received yet
So I took my Z to get an oil change today, and after it had been pulled out of the bay and I'm paying for the oil change, I turn around to see the technicians taking turns posing next to it for their cell phone cameras. That gave me the biggest ****-eating grin for the rest of the day.
It's nice to see that a car in its 4th year of production still has a lot of appeal.

Nice. First time I took the 350Z into Midas for an oil change, they were all standing around looking at it. They kept on making a big deal about the 18' stock rims. I was puzzled becase with their line of work, you'd think they would have seen bigger and better rims on cars.
BTW: you have any pics of your ride? Do you have any exterior mods?

The other day, I took my Z to the car wash. I would say about 5-6 of the detailers gathered around when I got in the car and drove off. Kinda made me feel good when I drove off and they pointed at the exhaust/wheels. Of course, it rained a couple of hours later

Same thing happened to me after I got my car out of the shop. A bunch of the workers were taking pictures around it. They were polite, they asked me if they could haha.

I feel the same way when the valets at nice restaurants race to be the one to park my Z.
And then they always park it in one of the "premium" spots. The other day when I came out of the restaurant, the Z was sitting next to a $160K Bentley.
No doubt about it, the Z gets noticed!

Compliments on the Z are always nice. Today I went to Mcdonalds and my food was not ready in the drive thru, so I waited ahead for them to bring me my food. This crack head looking lady comes out and goes " Boy that sure is a nice ride, keep it clean" or something like that. I thought she was going to go into convulsions mid statement lol but I said thanks and was on my way.

you could have paid twice as much for a bimmer and i can guarantee you wouldn't get half as much attention as your Z.
