Z Cabin Fever
Well my Z has been in the garage since Nov. 1st. I am going through withdrawls not being able to drive it. It was nice here ( Pittsburgh, PA ) yesterday, so I took it to get inspected. My inspection comes due in Feb and I wanted to make sure it was done, so come spring I don't have to wait to get it inspected. It felt good to get back behind the wheel, even though it was only for a few minutes.
I know the weather has been pretty mild this winter, but I just like to make sure my Z stays as close to new forever.

Holy crap 25k miles in 7 months? You're kidding right? I thought 6k miles in 6 months was bad as a daily driver...

No kidding. I bought the car mid-March last year, and it's been parked for winter since November. So a bit more than 7 months.
Drove it for commuting to work for 2 months (300 miles a week) while my daily driver was "unavaillable" (friend's wife smashed their car, lent one of mine...). The rest is fun rides !

I tired to tell my step mom that i needed my old accord so i could have it for a daily driver. She also said, why buy a car if you arent going to drive it. Took her advice and been driving the Z for 9 months with 12K miles!!! Loving it!

I drive the car, just not in the winter. I bought the car last April with 10K miles. At inspection it has 22K. I drove it everywhere all summer. I will do it again come April 11th. I figure every year I will bring it out of the garage on my Birthday. So every year I will give myself a Z for my birthday present.

Yes emmissions. PA has emmission testing and it is a rip off. With my old 240SX, I would only drive it less than 5k a year. If you stay under 5k miles a year you are exempt from having to pass emmissions.
The Z is too new to have to worry about failing though.

My Z has been truckin through all the snow all winter, even though there wasn't much, but I expect to do mods as far as the wheels and skirts are concerned anyways. Salt is not my enemy this winter, just my motivation.

I plan on keeping my Z as long as I can. I will drive it as much as possible, but I just want to also try and keep looking good. Plus I have a 4 wheel drive truck I use for winter and all my home improvement and side projects.
