i for one think the calendar sucked, really bad, the pics that they chose for the calendar sucked, i made one of the months and wasnt happy with the pic they chose for the full month. I am a photographer in the panhandle of florida. In the next few weeks I am holding a photoshoot for anyone in my area with a 350z that would like to be in it. Im not looking to take anything away from the calendar that downshift put out but everyone on here has had trouble getting a responce from the calendar. I had no idea that it was even out until one of my friends called me and asked if my car was in a calendar. Anyway. of couse my calendar wont be out until the 2007 year but believe me it will be far better organized than what we have now.

My car is February. Hopefully the calender will arrive soon. I saw a post from Rob of Downshift Mag on another Z forum and he said they should be shipping very soon. They ended up going with another printer and he says that they came out better.

Well, I got 2 emails from Downshift. The first claims I didn't pay, so I forwarded them the Paypal confirmation.

The second one read as follows:

Sorry for the inconvenience. Your calendar will be shipping out promptly.

Saw the post for this calendar and was not impressed. The cost is too high for what you're getting.

We've talked about doing a ZDayZ calendars (exact format is not set, but likely to only be cars that appear at ZDayZ this year and possibly former Best In Show Winners) for 2007. I've priced out doing these things and can easily do a larger format calendar on higher quality paper for the same price these guys are charging. I can't imagine paying $20 for a 8.5" x 11" format calendar (plus shipping on top of that). That's ridiculous!

Too further drive this point... I just did some calculations on what this would cost me to produce (assuming I did not have to pay for the pictures). At a price point of $20 (before shipping), I'd be making over a 200% profit.

That's pretty nice! Where can you get those? I'd love to get a stack of them to hand out at ZDayZ.

Guess we'll see when we get it...

I don't think it's fair, however, to compare a Downshift Online Calendar to a Nismo one... Nismo has a little more working capital if you know what I mean.

I plan to buy the Nismo as well.

For the original Calander, it looks pretty nice. I'd pay $20 shipped for that.

But that Nismo calendar looks sexy. Where can I get one?

Cybercath, I'm a recent member of ECZA; do you have a listing of members in the state of Maryland? Also, is there a site that sells 'really cool' merchandise (i.e. t-shirts, sweatshirts, etc.) for the 350z? I like the graphics on the z below your name.. I've seen that drawing on a t-shirt somewhere, but it was so long ago, I don't recall exactly where/any suggestions?
