Default My350z.com growing fast!!

Well, its something I just noticed tonight. I been on this forum for somewhat a good amount of time, I noticed when I first join we only had about 60-70 members, and when I looked at how many members sign on tonight 93+ members makes me think damn, this site grew pretty big pretty fast! just wanted to share that with my fellow Z owners, hope we can keep it up!! is that good news or bad news??

Well.. to be honest... I wouldn't be here if I didn't HAVE a Z.... perhaps they are becoming more affordable and available... thus a larger total community = proportionately larger sample here at the site?

I am 100% sure when you joined, which was not too long ago there were WAY more then 60-70 members. Maybe we can see some stats, but I dont beileve the rate of growth is any more than previous months, if there is not by much.

I don't think people would join a Z enthusiast forum without actually owning one. You have to be obsessed to do that.

I was on these forums for almost a year before I finally sat in my own Z.

I also have a couple friends who joined just to learn about the car. They had no prospect of being a Z owner.

Throughout the years there has been plenty of non-z owners who are just plain enthusiasts. Let's not forget all the G35's as well.

I agree, people come on this site for info, Z owners or not. That is the beauty of this site, you have people that have been there done that. (have defended this position once before).

Your Joined Date was Aug 2005 and we have had more than 90+ Z members go to a Bay Area Meet alone...

so where in the heck did you get 60-70 members from?

Totally agree. I think you would be dumb not to join one. Its one thing to read reviews written by auto journalists, but its another to see what the actual owners have to say about the car. I feel that is the best way to see what you are getting yourself into. I have been a member for about 1 1/2 years, and I'm hoping to get my Z in about a month or so (waiting for the temp to get back in the 50's and no chance of snow). I wish Nissan would somehow give this website some sort of commision for my car purchase, because this community definitely reinforced my current opinion about this car.

yeah, I joined this site right after I got my Z and I have learned a tremendous amount by searching these threads and hopefully have given some input as well. Some days I spend 3 hours on here looking through everything. My GF is like WTF are you doing on the computer so long? You learn much more than an owners manual or a magazine article could ever teach you.
