It's too big to ship via UPS, FX or USPS. Got to use a trucking company or pay for FX air cargo (expensive either way).

Fed Ex does have a ground service that uses big trucks for things such as wheel and tire packages, large items and so fourth.

I shipped a fiberglass bumper using yellow freight about 5 years ago. Try their website.

By trucking freight only. You ship fedex/ups ground and you are just asking for problems. They'll throw your crap around. We ship over 400 items per day, and I see how they jam our stuffs everyday.

I sell bodykits for my friend. I only use trucking. They'll cost aorund 120$ approximately shipped from CA to the east coast. They are insured, and they are on pallet. They do not allow anything to be stacked on top of your fragile bodykit so it makes it pretty bullet proof.

Also when you drop off, you must have the receipent sign for the paper. Tell your customer to sign for them after they've throughly checked box for damage and open the box and mark every defect they see. Once it's out of trucker's hand, they can't prove that item was damaged by shipping. So if you ship a good product in good packaging, customer will have no power to argue with you and try to return a product. Most likely, they damaged it themselves if they signed for it and you've asked them to check for damages before signing.

I bought a mustang bumper a few years ago off ebay, and ups dropped it off at my door... The guy that delivered it was just in the normal UPS truck...

AFAIK, UPS will ship anything under 100 lbs and less than 6 ft long.

I don't think I'd go that route anyway...
