so far the bumper is ok, i park my pathfinder about 1/2 car length behind it and no room for other car in front, except for the dam licence plate holes the dealer did..

If I don't have a garage, I wont buy any cars like that..
I know alot of people parking their Mercedes or Lexus on the street..
but for a car enthusiast..
they will NEVER do that..

you don't want your girl to get a cold, do ya?

cheers

I live near Chicago, and i don't have a garage. But i did buy a car cover for the rough winter months we have here, so my Z is always covered up and really clean for snow storms and for the really cold days, where my Z would spend couple weeks under the cover. If I had a choice, a garage is a must, but get a car cover for sure if left outside.

I drive my Z everyday in rain, sleet, snow, 10degrees or a 100 degrees. Sometimes I wish I had a garage and a different car to drive in the winter, but I've never had a garage so I don't know what I'm missing yet. I ususally wash my Z in the touch free auto wash and wipe down the wheels and My nismo exhaust muffler and tips in the winter months. In the summer I wash it by hand and dry it everytime and It looks just like it did they day I drove it off the lot. I actually think the summer driving is harder on your paint than the winter because of all the bird crap, BUGS, road tar, and air born rocks that love to chip the front bumper.

It has not been garaged since we bought it 09/15/03 and she is mostly fine. Only problem is the birds that crap on it at work. Couple of them turned into spots.

I park in an open element garage. I think I might put up some tarps to keep dust and UV rays away. So far it has been clean every morning I walk up to it. I think I will put a cat trap next to it.

It won't kill the car to sit in the weather if you can't afford or don't have access to a garage.
NOT GOING TO CRY....NOT AN EXOTIC...WON'T KILL THE CAR. What kind of maladjusted individual would spew such venom
I'm no better however..I have a private driveway on the side of my house. I leave the car covered, and have it hand washed every weekend. As soon as I have the $$$ I'm building a garage!!!

If your car is stock who cares leave it outside but if you have invested as much money as I have a garage is a must. I cant afford to have my car stolen, to much money lost

i'm w/ the other guy. it's not an exotic. you can get one for under $20g's now. i love my z but it is no 911 turbo. mine does sleep in the garage though. it's just keeping the spot warm for the porsche when that time comes.
