You sir are my next vote to be removed from the gene pool. The kid made a mistake; he doesn't deserve to die for it.

That kid got pwn3d!!!
what about the frame? that looks like it damaged the frame from the pics. if it did u might as well total it.

in regards to car washes, we have a touchless auto wash by my house. no swirl mark problems since it only uses jets of water to clean the car.

So what happened to the kid? What kind of injuries did he suffer I wonder? No way he came out of that one clean.

Its not just a kid and taking out his mom's car, its more of not letting anyone drive your car, but you.

Both my brother's have vettes, one's a 427ci and the other is a LPE TT. They don't drive my car, and I dont drive theirs.

If ANYTHING happens, of course its not YOUR fault...but you always have that thought in your mind that, "Man, if I didnt let him/her drive it, this wouldn't of happened................"

So, lesson to be learned, do not let ANYONE drive your car unless you just had your legs crushed by an advil or something like that.

Sad to see that nice roadster like that. Btw, is the driver side taillight missing or is that just crappy quality camera phone pics? If undamaged.......I got dibs!!!

After reading the first post, my first thought was "how can I get the wheels?" But alas, several have already beat me to it. I guess I'm not the only sick individual in the bunch (especially jinsei888). haha.

+1. The drivers seat is basically gone on that car. I don't see how 'the kid is fine' considering that the collision would have ended with the other cars front bumper about where the kids heart should have been. I see serious neck injury at least.

This was a dumb mistake on the kids part for not looking, but you can't say "kids shouldn't have Z's" because of this one. This same thing would have happened in his moms Taurus station-wagon. Now if he'd been drifting around the corner with one hand out the window.....

She said OK. he drove to the car wash, cleaned it, then he pulled out of the car wash and a car hit him UGLY STYLE BABY. Kids ok but Stupid for not looking BOTH WAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
this is kinda odd. where did you get the backstory? how come the top is down right after a car wash? thats kinda odd...

from the severity of the impact, the car that hit the ZR must have been going pretty frickin fast which is also kinda weird if the kid is just coming out of a carwash. the location of the damage is also towards the middle/back of the car. there was a good chance that someone else was driving too fast and slammed into the ZR as it was coming out.

there appears to be a texas sticker on the windshield, so i dont know if the speed limit in texas is much higher on local roads (assuming its a local road since i dont think it makes sense for a carwash to be on a highway/freeway).

i call shenanigans!!!

your a dumbass....not only those three things...think about the suspension...the toes....the arms.....all the electronical **** in the ****ing door....i got rear ended with a girl doing 40...i was at a complete stop....it cost 9,000 dollars to fix my car....so dont think its so easy....and besides the car is brand new....its going to be a ***** giving it back to the person knowing that the car was worth so much....so dont make such a stupid comment on the "easiness" of fixing it...thats the stupidest thing i have ever heard in my life~!!!
