Talking * Secrets Of The ' Z ' Revealed *

So. I just returned from Miami last night, and as my wife and I pulled up towards the house I asked, "Honey, have you checked the mail today?" She said, "Yes, but there wasn't any." So I decided to check it again, and along with the usual suspect 'bills' there was this shiny package with black contents of some kind inside? But after getting settled and unpacking and having dinner, I proceeded to read my stack of mail, (also included: August Issue of MOTOR TREND , no mention of 350Z but interestingly enough a "Sport Sedan Shootout including the G35 Sport) and I noticed this mysterious black pckg was addressed from Nissan! Needless to say, I furiously tore into it and it was several "information/picture cards" with stats (other than actual times) and a CD-ROM!!! I am just now about to put it in and view. It states, "Surprise Extras". I'll find out momentarily, but, I must admit, a little wind was knocked out of me by the facts stated clearly on the cards from Nissan: 287-hp @ 6200 rpm & 274-ft/lbs torque @ 4800 rpm with weights as follows:
350Z: 3,188 lbs.
Enthusiast: 3,197 lbs. (3,210 auto)
Performance: 3,217bs.
Touring: 3,247 lbs. (3,239 auto)
Track: 3,225 lbs.

This may be old news as I just logged on and posted, but even so, it is new to me and still very intriguing.
Your thoughts...........

I was just about to comment on how sweet your sig was VQ, but now I see.
So the CD was sweet and as informative as the cards. And yes, I'm still pumped about getting mine. So my only question is if these are 'official' and not pre-pro specs, where are the missing 13-hp that I have heard so much about (not just here but multiple sources)? And are does this make the C&D stats more true? No Flaming Please.

I happen to be a Scott. I was hoping for 380HP, 2800lbs, AWD and gold plated door handles. I think that's worth about $22,402, don't you?
