Did this just happen recently to everyone? Because my mom mentioned something about how State Farm raised insurance prices lately.

Haha when I got my car and called SafeAuto they said they don't insure 1 ton trucks... I started laughing till I realized they were serious. They said it was so new of a vehicle it wasnt in the computer yet, and they though 350 was for a ton truck. They had to call me back in a day.

Ya. Insurance companies = biggest legal fraud in America. The day I bought my Z (couple hours before) I was at the insurance company figuring out how much my insurance rates would be. They gave me a quote, told me what it was going to be. Two weeks later, they jacked it up a couple hundred dollars simply because they changed their minds. Great. Now I own the car, now much of a choice, right?!!

had geico for years and when i got my Z they quoted me 200 a month extra...

went online and shopped rates and cut everything to less than half...

GEICO's reply: we're not competitive in Pennsylvania, sorry

So all you Pennsylvanians with GEICO... review your policy...

I've tried switching to USAA three times, and they've always been way more expensive than the insurance I already have. We do have our renter's insurance through them though. Good company to work with.

eSurance.

I pay $140 a month for full coverage. I used to pay $160 a month on my Spec V with them and $260 a month for that car when I had Allstate. No sales offices=low overhead=lower rates.

you need to switch insurance company. Nationwide does not raise my rate up cuz of idiots drivin the same car. Im only 23 with clean record, no accidents, no tickets, and right after i graduated from college they lowered my rate further. Now im payin 72dollars/month for full coverage

Exactly, i used to pay around 300 a month(bad driving record) for my Z and when i switched to Esurance it went down to 145 a month for the same coverage.

WTH, I never get the dividend check, it always goes in some stupid fund that I can't cash out until I cancel my USAA policy! Stupid!

This is why our rates are rising, taken from another Z forum!
