The reason was a critical mistake.

on the other hand if TCS went on, truck could've ended up hitting you.... so not really sure which is better...

bad judgement call, hope you learned a hard lesson that will save your life in the future....

glad you're ok though.... the car can be fixed, your life is more precious

Yea, thanks everyone for the comments and support.

I'm going to trying and get another Z, but I doubt I'll be able to afford my insurance for another one, but hey why not try?!?! Guess it's back to little teen age rice rockets again. I really don't want to do that, but its my only choice. Anyone have a Honda for sell? (sacramento-san fran area)

Still not sure what insurance is doing. They've already sent me a check for $10k, but the body shop said they are going to send the insurance company a new estimate. I guess after they tour it down, and the adjuster came out to look at it they found some more damage. :/

Keep your TCS on.

Man, I'm so sorry. Really, I can't even imagine how it feels. I cried like a little girl when I crashed my diamante which is.....not 350Z If I totaled my 350Z....man, I don't know

It's good that you and ya girl are OK. That's the most important thing.

Wow, pic is almost unbelievable.
Hanging up like that, I bet your Z was a headturning show stopper on the street that day.

Glad you're ok man...be careful next time.

Time to get a stick and learn some throttle control?

Wow, that's sucks. At least you got to bring it to the track once. Doesn't look totalled, but it will definitely need frame pulls. I remember when you told me how much you paid for that thing up in Shingle Springs, and it made me realize I paid too much for my car...
