How much insurance for a 350Z? YIKES!
I just called my insurance company and asked how much it would cost to insure a 2005 350Z Coupe. They quoted me $416 CAD/month , that's about $360 USD/month. Ouch!
So this is a lesson to all you "youngersters" (I'm 30) out there be careful what you do now because it'll come back to bite you in the a$$ down the road. This goes for everything in life, including insurance.

Yeah you want to shop insurance unless you're daddy's buying that too.
I pay $620 a month for some rather large coverage ... sorry I pay $620 every six months for some rather large coveage. My coverage on the new Z is less than my 7 year old SUV due to the milage I put on each.

I'm 31, and I pay $130cdn a month for my 350Z and house insurance.
Right now with the 350Z in storage, My 2000 jetta winter beater and house insurance is only $115cdn a month.
Basically, before I bought the 350Z I called my insurance to ask them how much the price would go up, they told me about $15 a month.
So I have no idea what is going on with you. I'm with State Farm BTW.

ok, I'll say this again. insurance is completely subjective. it depends on numerous variables based on YOU and/or anyone else on the policy that each ins company weighs differently. you can't compare your rate with someone elses regardless of if its the same car or even the same ins co and if it seems like your rate is high, its more than likely b/c you screwed up or don't have enough driving experience. and if you can't afford the ins, don't buy a car. sorry for the vent, work sucks.
