Default Rent one instead of asking

Hey just got word from a friend that works with Hertz rent a car (manager) that now you can also rent a 350z. i know for a fact that you can get them at Orlando international Airprot location for $60 a day......So for those thinking of buying one and have doubts thay can go rent one and do what the hell they feel like with them (in a good returnable manner) and then return them. They only have it in the 5at.........Nice rental car......hertz also carry the audi s4 and other high performance cars....

That or you can go to the dealer and get a 24-48 hour test drive which all the dealers around here do. The test drive is free. 350Zs have been for rent since 03.

I bet you do. What is wrong with them being rentals? We have Ferraris, Lambos, Vipers, BMWs, and the likes for rent down here. Hell, you can rent a Maybach or Phantom, why not the Z?

Renting a Z would be affordable for most people at $60, meaning everyone would wanna rent one and it would lose it's current value... just my opinion

This was one of my factors in buying this car. Being a low scale rental is one thing, but having them as a common rental all over would cause me to bail out and sell real fast. When I bought my Sebring convertible, it was the only one registered in the state of Alabama in that color. Two years later, there were about a dozen in the little podunk town my mom lived in.
Being a rental can make a $30K car fall to less than $10K in only a couple of years due to supply and demand.

No doubt,,,,

If I remember correctly, 'Routes' will rent you a Ferrari for 200CND a day (including insurance) and you get 100KMS, (60cents per KM after that!)

Our cars are going to lose value because someone(everyone) can rent them for $60 a day? LOL! I don't think so. Thats just dumb.

I am not saying that. what I am saying is that if they are shown to have a demand, companies will begin buying more for rentals, and it goes from there. When they come off their leases, the market gets flooded, and our resell value goes down. I know they aren't out there in masses, but it COULD happen.

the only thing that sucks about that is that all the high end rentals are rented out by companies that specialize ONLY in exotics... here the 350z is being rented out by the same company who rents out hyundai accents. i just hope the Z's dont have those stupid "my other car is a rent a car" license plates like enterprise. hell i would feel like crap if i saw a Z being used as a pizza delivery car.
