I'm calling it guys.

Because where I come from, if you get a DUI and your underage you don't get your license back until your 21st birthday.
Now the court may have suspended his license and he only thinks it's six months. However, he's still has DMV to deal with and once the computer kicks out his birthday he'll go in for "the appointment". At "the appointment" they review his record and let him know since he is under 21 he won't be see that license for a while. So, this kid should be looking for a good bicycle cause that's about all they will let him handle for a few years. Oh, don't get a DUI on the bike if you ever had a license or that will be two. One more and your going for a Felony wrap in the big house.

DUI - Is serious these days ..... young people just aren't getting the message yet.

There I'm done preaching ...... Hopefully, he found a good lawyer and has rich parents that can help him out. Then hopefully, I wish that he doesn't drink again until he is 21. At that point lets hope he doesn't drink and drive because, it might be you or me that he kills driving like that.

Please don't buy a Z. Please wait a couple of years until you mature. If you are drinking and driving you shouldn't own a Z. You need all your senses when you drive one of these cars.

This might be a rouge poster just trying to pull our leg ..... it's happened before so I'm not taking any of his/her posts seriously. I mean really..... 8 posts.

Lie about the DUI and buy the 350z or better yet a faster car. But if you want to be stupid. Do it in an area where you can only hurt yourself.

I dont understand how people can get a DUI at age 16...Im 20 and I only have a few drinks when I know I dont have to drive home. Im not only looking out for myself but my parents. Suppose I was drunk, got into an accident and survived, but the other person was severly injured or even killed. Do you have any idea how much your parents will be sued? Why the hell do you want to put them in that situation? Your a fool and you shouldn't be driving a Z

i think they have a right to be "A holes". drinking and driving is a serious threat to others peoples safety on the roads. it can easily cost you your life.... even if you're not the one drinking and driving. he's clearly demonstrated a lack of judgement and maturity, and is now trying to get a car that he can 'have fun with' -as if he wasnt having fun before.

why should they help him out?

I may be wrong, but I'm pretty sure if you drink and drive and kill someone in an accident you were at fault in then you are charged with involuntary manslaughter and will likely be spending the rest of your life in jail..

I would not want to live in the state where involuntary manslaughter = life in prison (Is this the case in Fla? I doubt it!)

You would get several years... but not life.

Don't listen to hollywood then. Texas is very tough and 0 tolerance. i got a DUI with a whopping .03 BAC. If you know much about BAC you know that .03 is almost nothing. I too agree that the kid is probably BSing and he does sound kinda stupid, but Texas is tough. From what I know of Texas law, he would have gotten a DUI most likely. If he's sayin DWI and for some reason he's really not 16, very likely BS. On the other hand, if he really got a DWI and is that young, then hopefully he won't drive till he's 21.

Agreed with every statement before mine. I was young once too. You need to wait and learn responsibility before stepping up to a Z or any other High Performance Sports Car.
