I've been putting change in it but that is showing to be useless. I suppose placing cards or some sort would work.

More cup holders?! My first comment to my wife was "This car is geared for drinking and driving", I mean there is like 4 cup holders on a 2 passenger car.

haha i know what you mean, but our Z's are a 30k car... so dont worry too much about spilling something. I eat/drink in my Z, but when i have sum1 else in there i try to avoid eating and drinking.

i think its good for change and spall things...

i think more cars should have as many of these little cubbies/ drawers and power outlets as possible. they need all the extra storage they can get..

to the guy that keeps his garage key in there.. i hope none steals it might get in your garage

Just joking, i bought this black and grey change / cell phone holder from target and it works great for my cell phone , want to drill a hole in the bottom so i can run the charging cord through it.

It would be a nice place to put your keys if you seperate them like I do. I do not like the idea of a heavy key chain hanging off my ignition cylinder. This can cause them to fail prematurely.

Here's my set up to make it easy to seperate the ignition key from the rest:

So, what I am saying is you could put your remote and a key or two in there for quick and easy recovery.

In my case, with the 04.5, I have a cup holder. I have to put my key in the center console. In the 04.5 we don't have cup holders in the doors. So, the only cup holder you have when you take out the removable one in the center console is the one in the dash. IMO the cupholders in the center console in pretty scary. You can knock you drink over easily with your elbow. So, the one I use most of the time is the one in the dash.

On a side note - I just bought a smoked see through commuter cup with alumimum accents the looks great there on the commute. You know your pulling too many G's when the contents are over to one side of the cup.
No spills so far.

Come on guys it's a car use it.

Ah ..... I only allow purified drinking water in my car. Lol !!!

why does a Z need cupholders at all? No one should be eating anything in your car, let alone drinking anything. Oh, and you shouldnt drink and drive, more like, sip and cruise mmk?

Sex, drink, smoke, drive. That is what a Z is for, in that order.
