Being that I work for Hertz, I can confirm that its a Hertz car.

EDIT: Areas like out west around Vegas / Cali, and Florida you can rent cars from Hertz that you wouldn't expect. You can rent Jags, Lincolns and Land Rover at any Hertz. Cars like Benz, 350z, Aston Martin you can rent in warmer climets where the people generally have a ton of money to spend.

Well like everyone says you can pretty much rent anything these days. But dont forget that other saying "I wouldnt want to own a car that they use for taxies"

Mmm.... NSX...

So how does the Z compare to the NSX performance-wise, coming from an NSX owner?

You can pretty much rent any high-production car nowadays... except for the truly rare exotics.

$125 a day is quite flattering for a 30k sports car.

Well my NSX is heavily modded, so it is a true sports car, with a very stiff ride and handling.

The Z is a more of a tourer. I just put about 100 miles on it, and was enjoying every second of the drive.

The sound system is awesome, although I'm not a big fan of Bose. The Bose amp and speakers tend to go out on the NSXs quite frequently.

I would say that the NSX and Z compliment each other very well.

If I wanted a pure race car, I take the NSX. If I felt like driving a sporty and yet more relaxed type of drive, the Z is perfect.

Before I rented the Z, I rented a G35 sedan a while back to go on a cruise with other NSXs, when I had to carry more than 2 people. The G35 did really well, and the engine was smooth and very capable.

The Z is very very fun to drive, and reminds me of the NSX in some ways.

cool. I've always wanted to rent one of the 360 modenas (I don't think they have any f430's yet) from the "exotic" rental car shops here.

$125 is a standard rental rate for most "fun" cars. I remember back 10 years ago when the Stealth base model was selling for $15k, and a daily rental rate was $125 as well.

Sure is a great way to try out cars that a person is interested in.

When I was 18 I rented a Mercedes SLK black for 2 days for $230 from Budget. I was supposed to get a Porsche they had but it was in pieces in their lot cause the last person who rented it didn't know how to drive.

I need to go rent a Z....still never driven one.
