Default Poll: Do you LOVE or Hate the 06 Headlights???

Okay, lets have some fun! I want to know how many people truly do favor either the 05' or 06' headlights!

1. You prefer the 06' headlights
2. You prefer the 05' headlights
3. You like both of them
4. You don't like either of them

I was thinking of buying a set of 06' headlights and sending them to clear corners to have them painted to match the car.... decisions decisions

If Pre 06s didn't have the amber strip, I would vote for both.
Otherwise...06!!!

I love how they kind of change color when you turn them on.

I like the amber strips because it matches the reflectors on '03-'05.

I had an 03 and now a new 06 and I like the 06 much better. The best part is that they are much brighter and have a further illumination distance.

If there was a way they could have done the Bi-xenon '06 headlight without adding the surrounding edges that make it like Herbie with glasses I would have switched.

Basically, I like the function, dislike the look.

illumination distance problem...solved

http://www.hypersprite.com/auto/tech-z-003/index.asp

as for the brightness, i thought that the bi-xenons were single for low beam, and another xenon for high beams...so shouldn't low beams be equal brightness?

yes they Are equal brightness, only use 1 bulb instead of 2 like the pre-06

high beam simply re directed by a moving reflector (wwich you can hear)

Really tempted to order them, but then I keep seeing pictures of 350z's with there headlights missing Odds are the 2006 headlights custom done by clear corners would not last long on my car thanks to these punks who steal them and sell them on ebay

Good idea for a poll, I was curious myself.

I think the 06 look great, as long as you can replace the amber sidemarker bulbs with hyperwhites

I think they look more beefy, actually when you see them in person, that whole "glasses on" thing goes away pretty quick and that bezel starts to make the lights look more menicing, agressive like a low-brow, devils eyes. Basically, they rock!
