Two people on the way home questioned me on what I was driving. The first guy asked me how I could afford a Porsche and the second guy had no idea and loved the exhaust. They both complimented me on the car so it was a good day

Some people just don't know very much about cars....I was outside a very posh restaurant in south Tampa on Friday night and the owner of the restaurant asked me if it was a crossfire?????

 

Should of then told him that you couldn't tell the differance between his food and burger king.

 

It's nice to get compliments. In my part of town, I get dirty jealousy looks.

crossfires are rare! i havent seen one in a month! prolly all in the shop getting repaired. Still love the comparison that a crossfire resembles a dog squatting to take a crap.

I just saw a crossfire yesterday, but I can't remember the last time I've seen one before that!

I've noticed that Audi TT's have pretty much disappeared too. And the new Eclipse is rare. But just today after 20 minutes on the road, I saw a few Z's and G's.

I hate crossfires. They are slow. I mean even the SRT6 coupe that runs $47K is slow because it's so overweight. Handling is aweful. Too many fins all over the place even the wheels. The window frame is ugly. That rear spoiler is laughable, both in fixed and the raise your own models. I had a dude raise the spoiler on one the other day and take off on me in traffic.

The only thing I was thinking .... dude go get your ticket.

Guys, put the cheapest ST on your car and you can blow away even that 47K coupe.

Yes but many of us including myself pre ordered our Z's in 2002. Mine was delivered in September '02.
