Default Shipping Wheels and Tires packaging question

This may seem like a really stupid question but, What is the best way to package a wheel and tire set-up. I need to ship wheels to Fla. and don't know if I should box them or what?? I had a set wheel/tire package sent to me from a private seller and he sent them wrapped in plastic with a piece of cardboard over the face of the wheel. It seemed kind of cheesy to me.

I have always received mine in the same way as you, carboard and plastic wrap. You can put bubble wrap over the face of the wheels too and then put them in the box.. Wheels are generally tough if they have the tires on them.

that's how they come from tire rack. Buy some of that foam paper and put it over the face of the wheels and then use cardboard discs over the faces of the wheels with some kind of tape to secure it around the tire.
