Simple explanation

People, this can't be the frost interior. The pics in question are the ones taken from Autoweek's article and attached gallery. The car they tested and photographed in Detroit was a Track Version. So... no leather. We still have yet to see any frost interior photos...

Went to the dealer today and took some pictures of the witness panel for the Maxima and of a Maxima with Frost Leather interior. The color does look diferent depending on ambient light vice direct sunlight.

I feel very relieved. Now im just going to have to wait and see how well it goes with chrome silver. It should look really good. Anyways, wanted to say thanks to whoever took the pics and for the opinions of those who saw it in person.
