Okay, I looked into Royal Purple. Seems pretty good in my opinion.

Along the same line, what oil filters do you guys use? I must be one heck of a retard because I've been using Castrol Syntec and the regular fram filters (orange ones) that you find at your local auto part store because I thought all of this stuff works the same. Man, I feel bad now. I have been bad to my Z.

 

I used Mobil 1 filters on my last Z. On this one so far I've only had one change, and I have a Nissan filter. I may go back to the Mobil 1 when I change my oil next week. Probably whichever is the cheaper of the two.

$20.87 is the fee they charge to change the oil for you? or they do everything for that amount?

 

I use Motul in my cars and my Italian bikes as it keeps my machines very happy. It might be the best synthetic oil in the world. It also smells really good.

I use royal purple with a OEM nissan filter.

 

I use the K&N oil filter.

 

royal purple for 2 oil changes, no problems.
I my self cant notice the difference but i hope my engine does.

 

Castrol 5w30 dino oil. I stick with what Nissan says to use, I am pretty hard on my car but I change my oil every 2500-3000 religiously. I use Nissan OEM filters.
