actually nissan could have stripped the Z's interior down to bare bones and save another 100 pounds. i love the no nonsense bare bone interior of the Elise... "less is more" lol

- The interior layout is great IMO, but the semi-useless cupholders and card holders are pretty dumb. I really wish I could fit some travel mugs that don't have coke can dimensions in the cup holders.

- Protenzas are not my favorite tires by a long shot. They aren't complete crap, but the car deserves better Nissan.

- I hate the 265 tires streched over the 10" rim on my track. Doing my best to melt them off quickly so I can put some 275 or 285 tires back there.

- I'm also pretty unhappy abput the swirls the monkeys at the dealership put in my paint, but that is par for the course on any dark car. You can beg them not to touch it but it doesn't matter, they always feel the need to jack you up by "making it pretty" for you.

Other than the above, I love the ride.

The seatbelt hurts my collar bone. Part of it may be that I am only 5-8 but still it sucks. Oh ya, the fact that I just got a new motor in my car,my window streaks and all the TSB's on the 03' but other than that I love my car!!

I would love for just one day while I'm driving my 03 that my elbow doesn't hit the drink holder button and open the drink holder on the center console! Man I hate that ****!

Lol, buy an '06. You won't pop your cupholder with your elbow anymore, just as annoying though you'll do like me and open up the little cubby behind the "cup holder" since they shuffled things around a little on the new models.

I'm 5-10 and had the same problem with the seatbelt cutting my collarbone. I bought the nismo seatbelt pads off the internet and it solved the problem.

<-- my 06 is to heavy. The tranny on these machines arent the greatest (previous owner of 3 hondas). Other than that, interior is exquisit, bi-xenon headlights are incredible, smooth ride. No amber strip on headlights

Stock tire sizes, way too skinny. Of course wanting more HP and not having the ability to squeeze substantially more out of it without going FI.

Yes, the stock tires suck big time.....other than that, I only have this annoying rattle in the passenger door panel when there is a song with a lot of bass.

cuz....when those grease monkeys see your nice Z...they will jump on it the first chance they got just to get to drive it...they'd either play dumb or ignore the no wash instruction.
it blows my mind everytime i see exotic sports car owners leaving their rides with valet parking attendants.

try getting rid of the passenger seat, spare tire and always keep the gas tank under a 1/4 tank full. i also keep my own weight at 160 lbs. and refrain from driving after a full meal.

The ride absolutely blows on really bad roads at high speeds.

That it doesn't come with a passenger mute button. Your going to fast, The G's are killing me, Blah, Blah, Blah ..... Or, an ejecto seato .....

Otherwise, I bought and got exactly what I was looking for: Cheap sports car with some decent power that doesn't fall apart or rattle all over the place.

I'm really enjoying my Z car!
