New Info Valet key solved, fuel tank recall, and c6 z06
Here are three topics I wanted to update you guys on.
I remember reading a posting "Things you didn't know about your Z." In one of the posts a member asked if one uses the valet keys would it lower the rev. limiter to 3500 rpms.
Answer. NO, valet key opens drivers door and can start car.( can't access glove box with valet key). I drove the car with the valet key no difference in rev.limiter or performance.
Fuel Tank Recall
I took my z in yesterday at Oniel Nissan in Warington, PA. Car was driven less than .1 miles and was in the shop for 6 hours. Wheels were tighened within factory torque specs.
c6 z06
WOW!!! Tottaly different car. Best Bang for the Buck if your Budget is 60-70g's. I was in the passanger seat Monday night with a very good driver. Car easily does 115 or 130 (can't tell to busy looking at road/walls/turns) in 3rd gear. SO fast, I was speachless at the end of the drive. I am simple amazed!!
Great Car!
btw it was silver exterior had 2,000 miles on the odometer with stock tires and engine.
