Why is your hatch and hood discolored?

 

Oh, I see its carbon fiber now, however, it doesn't look like carbon fiber?! Maybe its just the lighting, but it looks lighter silver to me.

 

its a light silver carbon fiber, not many people have seen it before it gets lots of attention

 

Do they make the window sills in the silver CF? I think a set would finish out the look well.

i am also here in the next few mo going to be twin turboing the car, and putting the mastergrade wide body kit on it as well as some other goodies! i'll post pictures of it again in a min of a year this is the last pic i can take before going to afganistain for a year thanks for all the comments

That was my hunch and I think it would look great on a chrome silver Z, however I think it looks odd on Silverstone. From any distance (I'm guessing that pic was taken from 10-12' away) it just looks like mis-matched paint...

Not bad otherwise though. Post some pics of the TT and widebody when complete.

I thought you might be since you wrote out the brand names of all your mods in your signature, except for the rims.

either way, looks good so far. although your roof looks like a darker shade of color than the rest of your car. it could be the lighting.

 

The idea of the window sills being black glossy is make them blend in to the glass and be invisible. Making them silver CF would negate that intention.

lol yeah it is low on pressure just got it back from the drag strip, hey man i bought rims i could afford if yall wanna chip in and help me buy a better set than go ahead, but as of previous thats all i could afford. im on military pay give me a break here damn i make less than the base price of the damn car a year. its an 05 base model

 

I think you should paint the drivers side door rust brown, then the right front fender OD green, to finish out the look! Seriously, the odd carbon fiber color really does look like primer. At least in the pics.

 

I have the same wheels man, they look fine.

 

I like it. I almost think that black CF would look better. Just because the silver makes it look like it's faded out or something. But, it looks good and a CF hatch would be awesome, .
