I have only had my Z for 3 weeks now. Driving to work I had to go through this construction area. The flagger stuck her hand out to stop me from driving on past. She turned the stop sign around to let the other lane go through. She then walked around the car looking at it and gave me thumbs up. Problem was she was about 50 years old and fugly.

I guess that was a compliment?

Might have more to do with your parking job.

That was at a hotel in Oklahoma City. Was the last spot on the row and before I had parked there, a truck was parked to the spot to the right and was over the line.

It was also the same day some OU fanatic (who probably never to school there) asked what university USMC was because if I didn't know, I was in "Sooner" country. I told him it was the school of hard knocks and walked away, I looked back laughing and he had a confused look on his face.

Ive got two instances that combined make my favorite story. Got a nasty wood screw parking in a garage in downtown Charleston. I took it to a local shop to have it patched. When I go to pay guy tells me, " This one's the house. Workin' on cars like this are the highlight of my week." Not even a month later I took the Z to an electrical shop to get a new motor for my driver's side window. Go to pay, see the bill is for 50% of the motor cost and no labor charge. Ask the guy what was up and he tells me, "Bill's right. I enjoy workin' on cars and when a real nice one comes in, I treat them right. I want to make sure you come back here if there's ever another problem just so I don't have to work on P.O.S's all day."

"Oh my god he has sparcos"

Not really about the car, but most people loose their minds over my seats for some reason. I do get a lot of honks and thumbs ups.

No one really gives me compliments other than teens, or the occasional bird being flipped by the beat up honda guys in National City.

Default Best compliment

After posting a pic of my Z to facebook.......

Gary said "Can I have your baby?"

Stanley said "If someone pointed a gun at this car I'd stand in the way."

Anne said "I looked at it last night as I was running by with the dog! Jealous"

Just yesterday, a little kid around elemantary age walking out of a daycare center with his dad yelled out, "That is a nice car, that (color) one," the dad told him let's go home probaly didn't care much about it. This was a 50 yard type scream, I waved and sheepishly walks to the grocery store. My Z is still alive and kicking.

I drove home a bootylicious girl I met last week. She said to me "I love your cahrrr" In an semi-whispering voice before she got off the Z - my favorite part when dropping off girls. lol.

Ive had the Z about a month now.. love the "nice car" comments and the like. I was sitting in my car waiting in a parking lot and person that parked next to me told his passenger to be careful not to hit the $70,000 car.. lol

I never thought y'all were serious:

I was just approached by a co-worker (banker) who stated he loved my new Porsche ('03 Silver Touring) I was riding around in the other day. I attempted to correct him by telling him it was "only a Nissan", but he replied with,"Well, it's still a Porsche." He then continued on for about another two or three minutes about how he was impressed with my vehicle's status and warned me not to drive her too fast. It was all I could do to suppress laughter. I know I was grinning like a jackass the entire time.

That just happened..
