For me the best complement was I parked my car at a movie theater a couple years ago watching a movie. After I came out of the movie I saw a note on my winshield.

It said "I love your car. Give me a call at ***-***-**** (I dont' remember the name or number). I want to give you the best blow job you've ever had for a ride in your sick car!

I was totally shocked. My girlfriend at the time saw this since we were at the movie together and called the girl and was like sorry, no ride- no blow job for you. and hung up the phone. It was a classic moment.

doesn't sound like the kind of girl you wanna be getting a ******* from. any girl who's promissing that w/o even seeing the guy has to be pretty dirty. that has STD written all over it.

I agree. I would have never called her even if I did not have a gf at the time, but just the complement was nice.

Here's one for ya. "Nice car. What is it?" I would answer a 350z. Then it was, now get the he** out of the car I'm jacking it. LOL j/k.

I've had ppl take pics of my car and those who walk by it just stare. I was told, unless you know the car well (the way the lights and tail lights are shaped) you wouldn't know what car that is. I have a few things done to the exterior, nothing drastic but the body kit by itself almost transforms it into something else. But any Z owner can easily tell what it is.

Mine is similar to other I have read.

It was a few weeks after getting her in 2004 (so still not that many on the road). My wife and I went to a very high end restaurant with valet parking (I am in Toronto not LA...so not many here have valets). The front is usually full of Ferraris and Bentleys. Thinking nothing of it we go in and eat. When we come out the Z is front and center in front of the restaurant in the prime spot...and this was on a Saturday night with great weather. The valets loved it....I still do.

I have DB and love that color...even this morning I walked out and as said - "damn that is hot". I am really going to have trouble giving her up when the GT-R arrives (limited garage space means I can only keep one or the other)

I wouldn't mind having the new GTR. But at the same time, with the amount of money it takes to buy one of those, you can mod the heck out of a Z. Or get a used Ferrari.

I have had my '08 for only a few days, but I have been reading this entire thread for weeks, always so envious of those who own a Z, and amazed at all the compliments people get on their car.

Just today I pulled into the parking lot our company uses and the parking lot attendant walked up to me at a pretty brisk pace. I was wondering if I did anything wrong. He proceeds to walk up to me and the first thing he says is "your car is the safest one in this lot".

I looked at him with a question on my face and he tells me "man, I love your car. I must stare at it for at least 15 minutes each day."

That put the biggest smile on my face. I guess he meant that it is the "safest" car because he is looking at it more than the other cars on the lot.

Here is my take on the GT-R, and the same things I have heard from others.
Is it better looking than the Z? Nope. Good looking car but not as sexy looking at all. 2+2, bigger, mean looking, but smooth and sexy 2 seater? Nope.
Is it faster, for sure. Could you get a Z to be faster straight line? Probably, but around a course? Not a hope. The GT-R is a beast with some amazing technology working that 4WD system.
Do I want one? For sure. Would I keep the Z? Oh yeah. Sorry, if I have the money to have a GT-R then I have the money to increase my garage space.
Problem is that in Winnipeg, there is no support. If anything went wrong I'd be putting it on a train and shipping it off to the center of canada, Toronto (well they think they are, Winnipeg is the real center!) or Vancouver. That would suck to eat those costs. Same problem we have with Lambo's and Ferrari's. No place to repair them. Now we have a Porche dealer so you see a lot of those around.

Last night on my way home form work a guy in a mid 90's TT supra pulled up next to me at a stop light. This thing was amazing. very well taken care of. Anyway he pulled up and said "Nice car, I love how agressive they look from behind".

Everytime i go to this club downtown, they always park my car RIGHT in the very front next to the front door -- usually back to front with ferrari's, vipers, and other cars like that. Everytime i just think "damn do they really know how much this whip costs?"

Oh, and a side note...(and ive kept count for a bet btw me and buddies) ive gotten 19 phone numbers so far (had the car for 6 months so far) just while IN my car at stoplights, parking, drive throughs, clubs, etc. It almost every time starts with "I love your car!" I mean common...seriously?

I was at Dunkin' Donuts and sitting outside on a bench drinking my coffee when a cop parked right next to my car. He got out of his car and then just looked right at my car, even leaner over to look in the window. He glanced up and must of noticed me smiling, so he asked if it was mine and I replied yes. He said, "gorgeous car".

He came back out after getting his order and walked by me and said "man, I wish I could race you in this. You'd most likely win".

I thought it was pretty cool hearing that from a cop.
