If you had $1000, what would you spend it on to mod your Z?

I would get one of those shiny things that go on the diddly-boop. Talk about some crazy torque. WOW! Only $999. Its a wonder everyone doesn't have one.

I'd spend $1000 on a new driver mod.

$1000 will get you two weekends on the track. Here in the Northeast its finally getting nice, so if the weather is nice where you are, join a club and go for it.

Save it for some NICE rims. Don't settle for rims you can afford, wait untill you can buy the perfect Rims.

It can get you 3 track weekends on the west coast, and that is just what I suggest you do with it. Nothing else will give you more satisfaction with your Z.

honesty $1,000 dollars isn't a lot of money but it depends what you want out of the car. if you want show then that would be your personal preference but with perfomance such as track/handling then i'd get coilovers from splparts.com

then save up for aftermarket sway bars, better pad compound, and max summer tires

an exhaust really isn't going to shorten lap times by all that much... its more for show and grunt. same goes for pulleys, intakes, etc... it does improve the cars performance but i think fixing the body roll will help a lot more and give a much nicer feeling.
