Default 350z not sporty enough?

My friend and I were discussing some of the differences and which one was more appealing - it was between the 350z and the G35c. One thing he said that shocked me was that it wasn't sporty enough and it didn't capture what a true sports car should be . My comment to this was that he has got to be crazy to say that. What do you guys think about the comment: the 350z is not sporty enough.

if the z is not sporty enough, then we don't want to be in a "sporty" car

Well, I consider the Ferrari (any of them) as pretty sporty. I don't believe the Z is as sporty as a Ferrari. I guess that makes your friend right. The Z is not sporty enough. However, I do think I am a better person than you and that is why it isn't sporty enough for me. Perhaps it will be sporty enough for you.

Well I came across like 10 G35's this weekend and all them thought they're more sporty than me. Why are they always so angry?!?

Ask him then why is a luxury laden infiniti brand coupe, with a less firmer suspension, more "sporty"? Also Ferrari count in exotics, not "sporty" ;-) You should stop hanging around this friend since he may start rubbing his mental retardedness on you.

I do more reading than posting, because most of the questions (I've thought of or heard) are already answered.

take him out for a "spin" and show him what a Z can do
everyone has their opinion. if he feels a Z isnt sporty enough then tell him not to drive it. personally we dont need people driving Z's if they dont like it

Did he back up this statement with facts? Its annoying to hear someone say something and not list any reasons. So what should a true sports car be?
