Does the NISMO upgrade take care of this while improving the handling even more? Overall Nissan has done a great job with the new Z. Thanks again.
Mr350Z what's your take on this?

All I am willing to say at this point is that Nismo prides themselves in tuning suspension that does not degrade ride quality, however, vastly outperforms the OE suspension, provided all elements of the Nismo suspension kit are purchased.

The preformance is staggering and will be better than anything else currently on the market. I have driven Z's with "other" kits on them and they have flat-out unnnaceptable ride quality. Many "other" (whomever they may be, HKS, Tien..etc..) essentially just tighten everything with different dampening rates and stiffer springs. This is not the philosophy behind the Nismo suspension. The philosophy behind the Nismo suspension is to add and maintain the OE balance of the chassis while increasing it's overall capability...WHILE maintaining acceptable ride comfort, and getting rid of some of that understeer we all love so much.

Hope this gives you some insight....

Thanks for your insight. Will it work with the 17" rims & tires? Does it get rid of the bounce/chop that some of us complain of? I hope Nissan makes it available at a special deal to all the preorder cars. I for one would have probably ordered it as a option from the factory.

Will all Nissan dealers supply and install NISMO parts? I'm ready to buy as soon as they are capable of selling and installing.

All dealers will have the ability to order and instal Nismo parts. It's really up to the dealer whether they chose to order the parts. I see some dealers understanding the potential of the market...others not caring.

I'm banking on Nismo parts falling into the "pull" through marketing strategy, so we need to make sure that all you enthusiasts are pestering sales managers, not salemen ASAP about Nismo!

So how do you like your Track?...Spent a lot of time convincing management that yoyo's like us need such a track model. Kind of proud of the name too, has developed quite the following.

A suspension system will work wih either 17's or 18's but to optimize the handling you're better off with the 18's, especially since the Nismo wheels are wider 8.5", 9.5". Believe it or not...the ride quality improves due to the wider rubber.

Mr350Z,

Any idea when the NISMO products will be officially for sale here?

I'm very happy with the Track model. The car is for weekend use only and I'd rather listen to the engine when I drive than the stereo. The forged wheels and the Brembos were worth the price of admission. Best sports car I've owned so far (other notable sports cars owned were a 66 E-type Jag and 99 BMW M3).

Here is some more pictures of the Nismo Z!
I had a chance to open up the hood, and it is pretty much bone stock, besides the Exhaust! at least from the looks of it.

Sweet! Where is it parked? Some sort of Nissan headquarters or something?
