Right now, it is all about having fun with the car and meeting lots of new and interesting people. We are realists and will only put so much money in the z. We try to get the most bling for our $.
By the way we don't live in the z. lol The z is only driven to and from shows and for special events.

You guys forgetting to get rid of the old ecu or at least replash on a dyno, why u ask ? stock ecu is desinged with efficiency in mind , not performance, 50 hp gain by replacing and tunning the new ecu with all stock parts. do the math. think of it like this.
a stock windows computer with stock drivers for the hardware when there are high persormance hardware install on the computer = ****ty performance. Now install the performance drivers and it makes all the difference. Same goes for the ecu firmware. When u add mods the firmware has to be updated to ues the perf gains the mods were purchased for in the first place.
u c hardware upgrade= software ( firmware ) upgrade.
each peice u add , re program the ecu firmware to adapt to the new configuration.
I dont see anyone posting about this and that is a shame.
can u smell what the ecu is cookin
goto a dyno shop , upgrade the firmware and re post with gains.
you maybe suprised what happends, also remember to use wide band sensors , they sample faster and are more acurate.
i am non boost and am pulling 400 hp with a automatic tranny
speed force racing twin throttlebody plenum
http://www.speedforceracing.com/prod...y_g35imani.php
borla exhaust
unorthadox light flywheel and pulleys
utec ecu
hotter spark, cooller plug, uridium
sun voltage sys
I installed all the parts except ecu then had ecu and dyno,
wow i said wow wtf i could not beleive it, u sure this is my car, what did u do, omfg slow down, holy shttt did u add nitrous
, no sir just tuned is correctly

No offense bro, but there is NOW WAY you are making 400hp (not even crank hp) with those mods without being boosted or running nitrous... Not gonna happen.
I was running stock Greddy kit (6psi)w/ F-Con, tuned and still only making like 370whp..

I've spent around $1000 on my car. I am in awe of some of the numbers I am seeing in this thread. If I had that kind of cash lying around, I'd buy a house and go to racing school

I've spent more on one set of tires, than all the other "mods" combined...but I promised the wife I'd be good...so I'm trying to do that.
EDIT: just noticed I said "all" like I have a lot of mods...well I guess its noteworthy to say that "all" includes the 06 GT wheels.
