Default Got into an accident today :( pics

On the way to my final this morning a silver hyndai jeep clipped my front end and i swerved and lost control...hit the guardrail head on and then proceeded to spin wildly back onto the highway and then into the guardrail again...luckily no one was hurt...just a little sore...they hyndai took off...my insurance is paying for everything because it was a hit and run and i had two witnesses...my whole nismo cf kit is trashed

now they have my car at the shop...i need new headlights, sideskirts, bumper, hood and some rear suspension work...and a new dash my passenger side airbag went off but mine didnt!? wierd right

so the insurance company towed the car to a body shop...where do i go from here...i have progressive...will they tell me how much the repairs will be and cut me a check or will they just pay the body shop to do it??

just bad luck this week...my first speeding ticket ever and my first accident ever....

all these pics are after i stopped after i hit the guardrail the second time

as far as insurance goes. the body shop will give them a quote, then the insurance looks over it to see whether the body shop is ripping them off or not. once thats settled the insurance company gives the body shop the okay and once its done, you pay the body shop the deductable and insurance takes the rest of the tab. your are probably looking at a good $3k in work, if not more.

I don't think Hyndai makes a jeep.

It good to see that the cup holder holds that Pespi well even after the airbag goes off!

Then again glad you weren't hurt. Just like one of the other member said about insurance is true because I did that last year. No it wasn't my Z either, my Neon.

you are looking at more like 10K worth of damage due to the airbag deployment. At least everyone was ok though.

I'm glad you were not hurt. I hope everything works out in regards to getting insurance to cover repairs beyond OEM i.e. body kit.

Look on the bright side.... most of your car will be freshly painted when it's all said and done.

Glad to hear that you are ok. I had a similar accident with my integra back in 1999. very scary experience. no one got hurt either, the only damage was the rear bumper.

It could have been a lot worse, thank goodnes you were not injured.

I'm glad you walked away from the crash unharmed. A little polish and some Zaino should have it looking right in no time.
