Exclamation Sign It Guys. . .(New Silvia Petition)

How sweet wouldn't it be if Nissan brought back a Silvia (an S16 ? ? ?) Well that would be awesome, a trio of beautiful sports cars is possible should it happen (the Silvia, Z33, and new GTR). Here is a petition. Sign it, every bit Im sure can help. It worked for the Z, Evo, STi, and even GTR. These companies saw markets in the US and around the world for these cars, why not try for another.

Hmm .. interesting. Don't really see it happening but a good idea I guess. Is this really what happened for the Z, GTR, STI ?

Well not exactly a petition for the cars, but the demand was seen and thus the cars were brought, this just further enhances the demand.

But what about low level. They need a sporty car near or under 20k to compete with Honda SI's, old SRT-4's, Mazda 3's, Toyota Corrola Sport or MR2, Chevy cobalt, Subaru Wrx, and Volkswagon Golf. Its a very competitive price market. The Z is already 25-40k and GTR will be 70K, so an entry level would be great other than the Altima, i can't see the Altima pulling double duty for long as a family sedan/entry level sports car.

The SILVIA was the perfect entry level car from the factory. The reason I bought my mazdaspeed is because its similar to what a SILVIA used to be. Lightweight, 50/50 balance, turbo charged and rear wheel drive with a very strong drivetrain. Except for the fact the S15 silvia came with more power from the factory. It looked bad *** too and they just killed it for whatever reason.

If an S16 were built in the same tradition as the other silvia models, I'd be all over it.

This is a link to the azeal/S16. They do no believ car will be RWD but most likely FWD and or AWD. AWD would sell well but don't think FWD will do it. Some will see awd as an advancement but will see fwd as going backwards.

If nissan had a lighter 2 door, rwd car that was cheaper than the Z I think I would get that for my next car... I don't think I am going to spend as much as I did on the Z the next time around

The Silvia replacement is coming already... and it's called the URGE (concept) from what I hear, the URGE is about a 75% production possibility!
