Talking My Z vs SC R32 VW-My Z vs RSX Tubo'd

Sunday on the way to Nj for Mother's day ran into sum cool races. First I ran into a Turbocharged Rsx-S. We went off a 55 mph roll. It was pretty close. I jumped on him about a car til 120mph then he started to inch up on me. Kid was really impressed with my Z. Great race. Really nice car.

Right after I was done racing the Rsx T. A group of VW r32 pass us. Looks like they were coming from a R32 meeting. It was 4 of them riding together. So, of course one of them pulls up next to me. I hear a blower and as I look over I see an intercooler. I hear him drop it into gear. So, I get ready and do the same. He looks over and I do as well. And we punched it. It was dead even til the end of my 3rd gear. Once I hit 4th I was walking him. Got him by at least a car and 1/2. Maybe more. Couldn't really tell. Guy pulls up and ask me if I was FI and said no. He looked confused. Then asked me if Sprayed. I said nope! Just bolt-ons. Kid was like damn that $hit is fast. Asked him if he was SC, kid said yea. Kid gives me the thumbs up and drives away. I think they were sum good victories. Thought I would share them with u guys. VQ!

Discouraging!!! my friend wants to turbo his Type S but hes worried it will still be slowwwwwwww. And he just wants to catchup to my speeds...(haha) so it sucks when i hear about a Non FI Z keeping up with a turbo type S.. nice kills though

Ha, yeah that would def suck to turbo your car and still have it not really be a threat to a lot of cars on the road.

Lol yeah just imagine his type S and my turbo Z on the freeway... 150TQ VS 400 TQ... haha its pretty funny ... almost looks like he slammed on his brakes...

As for the R32... did that SC R32 really do that poorly...???

yeah the r32 doesn't sound right, most of the boosted R32's without touching the motor are making around 350awhp, and they weigh about the same as a Z...? if it has a head spacer to lower the compression then it could be in the 450hp+ range...

I could understand the driver mod if it was from a slow roll or a dig but its pretty much impossible to screw up a freeway run without completely missing a gear

Nice kills....

I totally agree a stock R32 should already run similiar numbers with the Z so a SC R32 should do a lot. Maybe he had heatsoak, bad tune, and had 3 fat chicks in his car lol

Are the R32's more dangerous on the freeway than from a slow roll (say 2nd gear) or a light stop vs a Z? Just a question?

I would have to say from a stop light they will give you the most trouble if the driver knows how to launch due to it being awd.
